About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at the public accounting profession. You will work with various supervisors on client engagements and gain experience using firm technology to apply your accounting knowledge. You will also shadow tax professionals and take part in team training and social events.
What you'll do#
- Support multiple supervisors across a variety of client engagements.
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow tax professionals at all levels of the firm.
- Participate in team building and training initiatives.
- Complete and present a marketing or research project.
- Attend social functions including happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- Junior or senior status in an accredited accounting or related program.
- You should be two years from graduation.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- The ability to travel to client sites, including frequent same-day travel.
- Previous experience with public accounting is a plus.

- Location: Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $30 to $40 per hour.
- This is a full-time position.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
