About the role#
Cherry Bekaert is hiring an International Tax Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside tax professionals to help businesses navigate U.S. international tax regulations and reporting requirements. This role provides hands-on experience with compliance, research, and consulting projects.
What you'll do#
- Prepare U.S. international tax forms including Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8992, 1118, K-2, and K-3.
- Gather, organize, and analyze client financial and tax data to support projects.
- Assist with calculations for foreign tax credits, GILTI, Subpart F income, and earnings and profits.
- Conduct tax research and summarize findings on reporting requirements.
- Use Excel and tax technology tools for compliance and modeling.
- Verify work for accuracy and collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Interest in international tax and multinational business operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- CPA-track or intent to pursue CPA certification is preferred.

- Compensation: $30-$35 per hour.
