About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a foundation for your career. You will work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements and apply your accounting knowledge using firm technology. This role offers exposure to the day-to-day operations of an accounting firm.
What you'll do#
- Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work.
- Shadow tax professionals of all levels.
- Participate in team building and training initiatives.
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
- Attend social functions, including community service projects, lunches, and happy hours.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program, with two years remaining until graduation.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.
- Eligibility to work in the United States, as sponsorship is not provided.
