About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a student for a 4 or 8-month co-op or internship within our US Corporate Tax team. This position is based in Vancouver and begins in January 2027. You will work in a full-time, hybrid capacity to support our tax professionals and clients.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients using your technical knowledge.
- Assist with tax compliance projects and other related assignments.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Respond to client requests and suggestions.
- Communicate with your team about project progress and any issues that arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree or diploma program.
- A strong commitment to teamwork and providing quality client service.
- Proven leadership skills and the initiative to seek understanding.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Term: Winter 2027 (starting January).
- Salary: $48,000 to $60,000.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
