About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a student for a 4 or 8-month co-op or internship within the US Corporate Tax team. This position begins in January 2027 and is based in either our Calgary or Edmonton offices. This is a full-time, paid role designed for students currently pursuing an accounting degree or diploma.
What you'll do#
- Apply your technical accounting knowledge to prepare tax returns for various clients.
- Assist with tax compliance projects and other regulatory assignments.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Respond to client requests and suggestions in a timely manner.
- Communicate regularly with team members to provide progress updates and resolve issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree or diploma program.
- A strong commitment to teamwork and client service.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Locations: Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.
