About the role#
The Indigenous Student Program is designed for self-identifying Indigenous post-secondary students, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis. This full-time, paid summer 2027 opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience in one of our service lines, such as Assurance, BDO Digital, Business Services & Outsourcing, Financial Advisory Services, Firm Wide Services, Management Consulting, or Personal Debt Solutions. You will connect with members of the Indigenous Pillar community, participate in local and national Indigenous community events, and receive ongoing mentorship from Indigenous leaders at BDO.
What you'll do#
- Gain practical work experience in your chosen service line.

- Understand your clients' industries, challenges, and opportunities.
- Deliver high-quality work while identifying and recommending effective service delivery methods.

What you'll need#
- You are currently working towards a diploma or degree.
- A strong interest in professional services and a desire to provide outstanding client service.
- Commitment to teamwork and proven leadership skills.
- Ability to take initiative and seek understanding.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This position is based in a hybrid work environment. We are hiring for this program in the following cities: Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, Kitchener-Waterloo, Halifax, Montreal, St. John's, Vancouver, Saskatoon, Ottawa, Winnipeg, and London.
