About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring Co-op or Intern students for the Financial Reporting and Insights team. This full-time position runs from May to August 2027. You will gain hands-on experience with reviews, compilations, and corporate tax work. We support students pursuing their CPA designation through mentorship, exam fee reimbursement, and study leave options.
What you'll do#
- Prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagements.
- Build working files for income tax and information returns for various client sizes.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients by responding to their requests and suggestions.
- Complete accounting analysis and assignments using established procedures.
- Communicate project progress and issues to team members on an ongoing basis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree or diploma program.
- Interest in long-term growth within the Financial Reporting and Insights team.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- A focus on teamwork, quality, and client service.
- Experience or certifications with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage are preferred.

- Locations: Winnipeg, Pembina Valley, Portage la Prairie, or Brandon, Manitoba.
- Modality: Hybrid work model.
