About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a Co-op Student or Intern for a 4-month term starting in January 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based in our London, Windsor, Sarnia, Chatham, Strathroy, or Woodstock offices. You will join our Office Administration team to provide support to our professional staff and assist with daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Welcome visitors and route phone calls professionally.
- Direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Process payments and manage mail and courier requirements.
- Maintain spreadsheets for tracking purposes.
- Provide general administrative support and assist professional staff.
- Proofread financial statements and letters for errors.
- Use Workday for file and project management.
- Work independently on assignments and special projects.
- Provide backup reception support and assist other administrative staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program focused on administration.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to build rapport with clients through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work as a self-starter and handle tasks independently.
- A professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is an asset.
- Prior customer service or administrative experience is an asset.
Location & details#
- This role is based in London, Windsor, Sarnia, Chatham, Strathroy, or Woodstock, Ontario.
- The work modality is a blend of on-site and hybrid arrangements.
- The expected compensation is $35,100 per annum.
