About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring Co-op or Intern students for the Financial Reporting & Insights team in Manitoba for the Fall 2027 term, running from September through December. This full-time, paid position focuses on reviews, compilations, and corporate tax work. We operate with a hybrid work model, requiring time in the office, at client sites, and virtually.
What you'll do#
- Prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagements.
- Build and maintain working files for income tax and information returns.
- Communicate with team members regarding project progress and any issues.
- Manage ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following standard procedures.
- Build relationships with clients and respond to their requests or suggestions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree or diploma program.
- An interest in long-term growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A focus on teamwork, client service, and high-quality detailed work.
- Experience or certifications with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage are considered an asset.
