About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a Co-op or Intern for our Assurance team in Winnipeg. This is a 4-month position running from May to August 2027. You will gain experience in financial reporting, compliance, and client service while working with our professional team. This is a full-time, paid role.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients by applying your academic knowledge.
- Assist with tax compliance projects and other assignments following regulatory standards.
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients while responding to their needs.
- Participate in business development initiatives and identify new opportunities for our clients.
- Communicate progress and issues to your team members regularly.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a degree or diploma with a focus on accounting.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership ability and the initiative to seek understanding.
- A commitment to teamwork and providing quality client service.

- Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with time spent in the office, at client sites, and virtually.
