About the role#
We are looking for Co-op or Intern students to join our Financial Reporting & Insights team in Manitoba for the Fall 2027 term, running from September to December. This position focuses on reviews, compilations, and corporate tax work. You will gain hands-on experience while working within a team that supports your professional development and progress toward a CPA designation.
What you'll do#
- Prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagements.
- Create working files for income tax and information returns for clients of various sizes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by responding to their requests and suggestions.
- Complete ongoing accounting analysis and assignments according to established procedures.
- Communicate regularly with team members to provide progress updates and address any issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program with a focus on accounting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A commitment to teamwork, high-quality detailed work, and client service.
- Interest in long-term growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team.
- Familiarity with software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is considered an asset.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based in Manitoba with positions available in Winnipeg, Pembina Valley, Portage la Prairie, and Brandon.
- We operate under a hybrid work model, requiring time in the office, at client sites, and virtually.
