About the role#
The Investment Analytics Engineering team works at the intersection of finance and data science. We are looking for an intern to support our analytics discovery and platform transformation efforts. You will work with project leads to explore new ideas and apply your technical skills to support investment processes.
What you'll do#
- Research and propose new analytic methodologies to improve decision-making.
- Develop scalable investment analytics, including performance, attribution, risk, and exposure modeling.
- Transform data and build business intelligence visualizations.
- Support process improvements and data engineering tasks to strengthen pipelines and reduce risk.
- Apply AI tools to financial modeling, anomaly detection, and natural-language database querying.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor or master degree in Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Curiosity about the asset management industry.
- An analytical mindset and a desire to solve problems.
- Ability to query and analyze information from datasets.
- Collaborative skills and a willingness to communicate clearly.
- A growth mindset focused on improving processes.
- Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or PowerBI is an asset.

- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Type: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 base salary plus an annual performance bonus.
