About the role#
The Investment Analytics Engineering team works at the intersection of financial analytics, programming, and data science. We are looking for an intern to join this team to help apply technology to investment processes, find insights, and build practical solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support analytics discovery and digital transformation efforts.
- Research and propose new analytic methodologies to improve decision-making.
- Develop scalable investment analytics, including performance, risk, and exposure modeling.
- Transform data to build visualizations and business intelligence outputs.
- Assist with data engineering tasks to strengthen data pipelines.
- Propose and apply AI for financial modeling, anomaly detection, and database querying.
- Identify process and workflow improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Curiosity about the asset management industry and investment analytics.
- Interest in working with data and developing technical skills.
- Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or PowerBI is an asset.
- Ability to query and analyze information from datasets.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
- Collaborative communication skills and a growth-oriented mindset.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 base salary plus an annual performance bonus.
