About the role#
BDO Canada’s Management Consulting practice is a national advisory team helping clients navigate complex business challenges. As an intern or co-op student, you will join the Digital Strategy & Transformation practice. You will work with business and technology leaders to help shape the future of their organizations through digital, data, and AI solutions.
What you'll do#
- Assist in delivering digital strategy client engagements, including prioritizing needs and evaluating opportunities.
- Prepare proposals to support new client work across various industries.
- Perform data collection and analysis to support the development of creative solutions.
- Participate in stakeholder interviews and client discovery sessions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues by providing responsive, professional service.
- Communicate project progress and activities to team members and clients.
- Monitor technology and industry developments to bring fresh ideas to client problems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in management consulting and technology.
- Familiarity with digital strategy principles, data and analytics, and business AI applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose project issues, build solutions, and draft impactful communications.
- Capacity to take initiative and seek understanding of complex challenges.
- Proven leadership skills and a commitment to teamwork.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, client-driven environments.
