About the role#
BDO Canada is seeking a Co-op student or intern to join the Office Administration team for a 4-month term starting in January 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in either our Kitchener-Waterloo or Guelph offices. You will support the administrative team while building professional experience in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Welcome visitors, route phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Manage mail and courier requirements, including maintaining tracking spreadsheets.
- Provide general administrative support to professional staff.
- Proofread financial statements and letters for grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors.
- Use Workday for file and project management.
- Handle other administrative duties as required, including back-up reception tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program focused on administration, human resources, communications, or accounting.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is considered an asset.
