About the role#
The Security Technology Coordinator role supports the Physical Security & Crisis Management (PSCM) team. You will report to the Manager of Security Technology and help drive 2027 technology initiatives. This position focuses on AI, automation, and project coordination within a corporate environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of an AI and automation roadmap for PSCM by identifying ways to reduce manual effort and improve processes.
- Build and maintain practical automation solutions using Power Automate, Copilot, and Copilot Studio.
- Act as an AI and automation champion by engaging with internal teams, researching new use cases, and sharing ideas.
- Assist with project coordination, including tracking action items, documenting meeting minutes, and facilitating project meetings.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Information Security, Business Management, Computer Science, or a related field with a graduation date of April 2027 or later.
- Hands-on experience with AI, automation, and process improvement tools like Power Automate, Copilot Studio, GenAI, and Agentic AI.
- High proficiency with Word, Excel, and Power Automate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a self-starter mindset.
- Ability to think critically, work through ambiguity, and deliver results to deadlines.
- Experience with physical access control, video management platforms, or incident management software is an asset.
