About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a Co-op or Intern for the Financial Reporting & Insights team in Red Deer. This is a full-time, 4-month position running from September to December 2027. You will gain experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and client service while working in a collaborative team environment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients.
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and related assignments.
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Participate in business development initiatives and identify new opportunities.
- Communicate progress and project updates to team members.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working towards a degree or diploma in accounting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- A commitment to teamwork and providing high-quality client service.
