About the role#
Join the Forensic Disputes & Investigation (FDI) team to apply your classroom learning to complex business and legal challenges. This role offers hands-on exposure to fraud investigations, commercial insurance claims, and litigation support. You will work with a national team of specialists to develop a forensic mindset, strengthen your financial modeling capabilities, and gain experience in investigative accounting.
What you'll do#
- Support relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Participate in meetings with engagement teams to plan work and deliver client service.
- Examine financial records, analyze data, and build financial models.
- Conduct economic and industry research to support engagements.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial and loss quantification models.
- Assist in drafting clear, concise reports and presentations for clients.
- Support business development activities and internal practice initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program specializing in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields.
- Intention of pursuing the CPA designation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for both written and verbal tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
