About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring Co-op students and interns for the Assurance team in Ottawa. This position runs from January to April 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional services environment while working toward your accounting credentials.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical knowledge from your studies to specific work projects.
- Prepare working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements.
- Gather evidence for various Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Provide regular progress updates to your team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree or diploma program.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership ability and a proactive approach to learning.
- A commitment to providing high-quality client service.

- Location: Ottawa, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $48,000 to $52,000 per year.
