About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a paid internship or co-op term during Winter 2027. This is a full-time position focused on supporting our AppDev team. You will work on cloud environments, automation, and infrastructure pipelines to help our clients succeed.
What you'll do#
- Design, manage, and maintain Azure cloud environments for our customers.
- Build and maintain continuous delivery pipelines using GitHub and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Write automation scripts using PowerShell, CLI, and Python.
- Design and implement tasks within CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain Azure security policies.
- Contribute to new and existing service offerings.
- Resolve configuration issues and improve overall cloud operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering program.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell or Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of the Azure REST API.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Studio, Polybase, ADF, Databricks, Azure ML, MLFlow, ADLS g2, ADC g2, AKV, and HSM is considered an asset.
