About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring Co-op or Intern students for our Tax team in Ottawa. This is a 4-month position starting in January 2027. You will work on-site as part of a team focused on delivering tax services to a variety of clients.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients using your technical accounting knowledge.
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Communicate with team members regarding project progress and any issues.
- Participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to support our work.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a degree or diploma in accounting.
- A commitment to teamwork and a desire to provide outstanding client service.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Ottawa, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months).
- Compensation: $48,000 - $58,000.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
