About the role#
BDO Canada is seeking a Co-op student or intern to join the Risk Advisory Services team in Montreal for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting a variety of engagements while working toward your professional goals.
What you'll do#
- Work on diverse engagement types, including internal audit, enterprise risk management, and internal controls assessments.
- Review, document, and test business processes and internal controls to evaluate their effectiveness.
- Assist the team in developing risk assessments for clients.
- Create client deliverables, such as detailed analyses and reporting documentation.
- Apply project management skills and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality results.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accounting-focused post-secondary program.
- Strong interest in building a career within risk advisory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables with varying deadlines.
