About the role#
This is a 4-month Co-op or Intern position based in our Portage la Prairie office. You will join the Assurance team for the summer of 2027. This role provides a learning experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. We support students pursuing their CPA designation through mentorship, exam fee reimbursement, and study leave options.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for clients using technical knowledge from your coursework.
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments following regulatory standards.
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Respond to client requests and suggestions.
- Participate in business development initiatives and identify new opportunities.
- Communicate progress updates and issues to team members.
What you'll need#
- Currently working toward a degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
- A strong desire to provide outstanding client service.
- Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Location: Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
