About the role#
As an intern on the Commercial Portfolio Management team, you will support the BES and CFG credit teams. You will report to the Manager of Commercial Credit and work alongside account managers and the renewal coordinator. This role is a paid, full-time position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Determine documentation requirements for annual reviews and communicate these needs to clients, brokers, and lending partners.
- Maintain the annual review pipeline and verify that received documents are satisfactory.
- Update site inspection reporting for renewals and annual reviews.
- Review incoming site inspections and escalate any issues to management or account managers.
- Manage your daily workflow to meet specific deadlines.
- Provide coverage for the Renewal Coordinator, including handling renewals and extensions.
- Communicate with internal and external contacts to keep transaction processes efficient.
- Contribute to special projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in business or finance.
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial mortgage administration or credit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- High attention to detail.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with site inspections is an asset, as is bilingualism.

- This role is based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The work modality is hybrid, with time spent in the office at 25 Ontario Street.
- Term: January to April 2027.
