About the role#
As a Product Marketing Intern, you will support the planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives for credit card and deposit portfolios. This role involves working on both customer acquisition and lifecycle marketing. You will collaborate with marketing leaders and cross-functional partners to move initiatives from initial planning through to launch. This is a hands-on position designed to provide support across the Product Marketing team during the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives across credit cards and deposits.
- Assist with campaign development from briefing through launch, including coordinating creative development and approvals.
- Develop and proofread customer-facing marketing materials for email, digital, in-app, and paid media channels.
- Coordinate with internal teams like Product, Digital, Data, Legal, and Compliance, as well as external agency partners.
- Conduct research on market, competitor, and customer trends to support product positioning.
- Assist with campaign tracking and reporting by gathering results and identifying performance insights.
- Maintain project plans, marketing calendars, and campaign documentation.
- Help with budget administration, including expense tracking and invoice coordination.
- Prepare presentations and meeting materials for team updates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or Communications.
- Eligibility to participate in a co-op work term.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including an eye for detail and proofreading.
- Organization and time management skills to handle multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Analytical skills and an interest in using data to support marketing decisions.
- Curiosity about customer behavior, financial services, and digital products.
- A collaborative approach and comfort working with various stakeholders.
- Previous experience in marketing, communications, or project coordination is an asset.
