About the role#
Our Edmonton office is seeking undergraduate students to join our Corporate Finance practice as a co-op or intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within multi-disciplinary teams to support independent investment banking and financial advisory services. This role offers exposure to various transactions and stages of the deal process, involving local, national, and international clients.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of financial models and the analysis of financial metrics like EBITDA and working capital.
- Perform market research and analyze publicly available information, including pricing multiples and transaction data.
- Assist in identifying and researching potential acquisition targets, purchasers, and investors.
- Contribute to the preparation and distribution of confidential information memorandums.
- Prepare presentations and analysis for client mandates and business development activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in business, commerce, accounting, or finance.
- A strong academic record.
- A clear intention to pursue your Canadian CPA designation.
- Commitment to completing all CPA required pre-requisite courses.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada by the start date.
