About the role#
KPMG Canada is seeking undergraduate students for a 4-month co-op position within the Deal Advisory, Valuations - Machinery & Equipment practice. This role is based in our Toronto office for the Winter 2027 term. You will support our team in providing valuation services for public and private companies across various industries, assisting with financial reporting, tax planning, and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do#
- Gather and review data related to assets being appraised.
- Conduct cost and market research to build and review valuation models.
- Perform site inspections to view assets and collect necessary information.
- Write and edit reports and internal memorandums.
- Assist with the development of marketing materials and business development mandates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate engineering, accounting, or finance co-op program.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience in an analytical role or client-serving environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and writing skills.
- A basic understanding of and interest in financial and accounting concepts.
