About the role#
The Total Fund Risk & Analytics team manages risk systems, methodologies, and reporting for the organization. This internship offers experience in quantitative finance, investment risk, and technology. You will contribute to analytical activities and research initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the Risk Division.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and enhance existing enterprise risk systems while developing new analytical tools.
- Respond to data and analysis requests from the Risk Division and various investment departments.
- Support risk modeling and monitoring processes through research and analysis.
- Explore artificial intelligence technologies and their potential applications to investment risk.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to build analytics tools that assist in investment decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Data Science.
- Software development experience using Python or C#.
- Familiarity with Excel, PL/SQL, Power BI, Visual Studio, Julia, and Git.
- Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of financial markets and quantitative risk is an asset.
- You must be returning to your studies after the work term finishes.

- Term: May 2027 to April 2028 (12 months).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $30 to $33 per hour, depending on qualifications.
