About the role#
This is a summer internship position within the Equities Portfolio Solutions team. You will gain insight into the private equity portfolio at Ontario Teachers' by supporting portfolio construction analytics. You will work with a small team to deliver reporting and analysis that aids decision-making. This role is based in Toronto and runs from May 2027 to August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support ongoing portfolio monitoring, including the semi-annual valuations process to assess performance and trends.
- Manage, clean, and analyze large datasets to maintain data quality and produce insights.
- Coordinate data requests with deal teams and compile materials for quarterly portfolio reviews.
- Develop recurring and ad-hoc reports for senior leadership, including the Equities Senior Team and the Board of Directors.
- Partner with colleagues across the organization to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in business, finance, or accounting (2nd to 4th year).
- Strong academic track record.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of fundamental investment and valuation analysis.
- Self-motivated approach to work.

- Candidates must be enrolled in a co-op program or returning to studies after the work term.
