About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a Co-op or Intern student for our Personal Debt Solutions team in Kitchener, Ontario. This is a full-time position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will work on-site and gain exposure to insolvency processes while supporting our professional team.
What you'll do#
- Calculate and review income for clients.
- Analyze client data, financial information, and creditor claims.
- Prepare detailed reports based on your findings.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Communicate progress updates and project issues to team members regularly.
- Assist with other insolvency-related tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a degree or diploma with a focus in accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication abilities.
- Proven leadership experience and the initiative to seek understanding.
- A commitment to providing high-quality service to clients.

- Location: Kitchener, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $40,000 to $52,000 per year.
