About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program running from May 31st to August 6th, 2027. You will work with the sales team to gain first-hand experience through on the job learning, skills training, and networking. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Respond to requests from the sales team and follow up in a timely manner.
- Help develop business opportunities using information provided by the team.
- Generate client mailings and emails regarding company products and thought leadership.
- Maintain departmental databases and client mailing lists.
- Support sales goals and territorial objectives by working with Internal Sales Consultants and Regional Sales Directors.
- Perform administrative tasks such as coordinating meetings, generating sales reports, and ordering literature.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student, with preference given to incoming juniors and seniors.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work with little supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to build business relationships.
- Interest in the mutual fund and financial services industry.
- Intermediate knowledge of mutual fund or financial industry products is a plus.
- Must provide your own local transportation and accommodations.
