About the role#
Cerity Partners is seeking a Wealth Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This paid internship offers undergraduate students exposure to the financial industry within a registered investment advisory firm. You will work 30 to 40 hours per week in our Indianapolis office.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and participate in client presentations.
- Assist Financial Advisors with financial documents and performance reports.
- Support the full financial planning process, from data gathering to ongoing reviews.
- Use CRM and financial planning software systems.
- Work toward obtaining your e-Money Certification.
- Help design, implement, and maintain discretionary investment portfolios.
- Implement income tax planning strategies.
- Conduct independent research and build spreadsheets for financial planning opportunities.
- Collaborate with a team on a virtual financial planning project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience through campus organizations, leadership roles, or previous professional work.
- Alignment with the mission and core values of Cerity Partners.

- This role is located on-site in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- This is a paid, full-time summer internship for 2027.
