About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within our Wealth Planning team. You will work alongside professionals who support Financial Advisors nationwide. Interns contribute to real projects and gain insight into the structure of our Wealth Solutions Group. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in our Milwaukee office and two days remote. The position begins in June 2027 and includes full-time hours during the summer and part-time hours during the school year.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Wealth Planning team with plan construction and the presentation of analyses.
- Review BairdWeb content and perform site enhancements.
- Manage the team workflow queue and provide general process support.
- Connect with team members for professional development and career exploration.
- Build professional relationships across the Wealth Solutions Group.
- Prepare for and complete the SIE exam.
- Handle additional projects and tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Graduation date of May 2028 or later.
- Strong academic record.
- Genuine interest in finance or personal finance.
- Proficiency with Excel and other data-driven systems.
- Experience with planning software such as MoneyGuidePro.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
