About the role#
This internship offers students the chance to gain practical experience within the Wealth Planning team. You will support our professionals as they provide holistic planning services to Financial Advisors across the country. This role is a hybrid position based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, requiring three days per week in the office and two days remote. The program begins in June 2027 and continues through the school semesters.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Wealth Planning team with plan construction and the presentation of financial analyses.
- Review and update content on BairdWeb to ensure the internal site remains current.
- Manage the team workflow queue and provide general process support.
- Build professional relationships across the Wealth Solutions Group.
- Engage with team members to explore career paths and professional development.
- Work toward completing the SIE exam.
- Handle additional projects and duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- A strong record of academic performance.
- An anticipated graduation date of May 2028 or later.
- A genuine interest in personal finance.
- Proficiency with Excel and other data-driven systems.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Term: Summer 2027 start.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
- Schedule: Full-time (37.5 to 40 hours per week) during the summer and part-time (15 to 20 hours per week) during school semesters.
