About the role#
As a Corporate Finance Intern, you will work within the Corporate FP&A and Treasury teams. This role involves performing financial analysis, developing financial models, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. You will support strategic business decisions and assist with ongoing cash management processes.
What you'll do#
- Perform variance and trending analysis for company and business unit financial metrics.
- Summarize findings and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
- Contribute to monthly financial analysis and internal reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of 5-year financial models, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Perform scenario analysis and decision support.
- Maintain and update profitability and pricing tools.
- Conduct post-project analysis to evaluate outcomes.
- Identify cost-saving or profit-generating opportunities.
- Assist in evaluating daily cash positions and monitoring bank fee expenses.
- Maintain cash flow forecasting tools.
- Prepare securitization funding pools and coordinate interest rate swap modeling.
- Contribute to the analysis and implementation of investment opportunities.
- Participate in cross-functional team efforts and uphold company principles.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.25.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate sound business judgment.
- Initiative, organization, and a desire to learn.
- Experience with Tableau or Microsoft BI is a plus.
