About the role#
The Accounting Internship at GreatAmerica Financial Services offers hands-on experience within a collaborative finance team. What you'll do#
- Perform general ledger account reconciliation.
- Participate in the month end closing process.
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit.
- Prepare and audit recurring operational reports.
- Create monthly reporting for various external customer programs.
- Contribute to Accounting team strategic initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor or graduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum GPA of 3.25.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- A desire to learn and take initiative.
