About the role#
CCK Strategies is hiring an Audit & Assurance Intern for the Summer 2028 term. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations. You will work within our audit team to support clients across various industries.
What you'll do#
- Prepare engagement workpapers and complete documentation following firm and industry standards.
- Apply basic accounting principles and identify potential risks during engagements.
- Complete assigned sections of projects within budget.
- Address review notes promptly and accurately.
- Work directly with clients when necessary.
- Provide training to less experienced staff under the supervision of seniors or managers.
- Stay current with evolving audit and accounting standards.
- Follow all information security policies to protect sensitive data.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage your time effectively and adapt to changing project priorities.
- A proactive approach to seeking improvements and solving problems independently.
- Availability to travel to client locations, including occasional out of state travel.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Frisco, Texas.
- The role is on-site.
