About the role#
Working within the Finance department, you will support daily accounting activities and contribute to core financial processes. This role offers exposure to the operations of a major infrastructure organization.
What you'll do#
- Handle daily accounting operations for entities using auxiliary systems.
- Assist with closing activities at the end of each period.
- Manage financial transactions, invoicing, and manual entries for project entities.
- Support the preparation of quarterly financial statements for the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Perform quality control checks on financial reports and statements presented to management.
- Monitor the execution of specific financial controls.
- Create PowerPoint presentations related to financial disclosure.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement and development projects within the Finance team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program (at least second year) in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, specifically advanced Excel, PowerQuery, and Power BI.
- Excellent command of French, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- A methodical approach, intellectual curiosity, and a sense of initiative.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous finance internship experience is considered an asset.
