About the role#
The Audit Specialist role supports the annual audit of the financial reporting process. This team handles audit preparation for alternative investment fund clients, primarily between January and June. You will work on independent projects while collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Operate Excel and UMB accounting systems to pull in and summarize exports for client financial statements.
- Reconcile and clean up data to help prepare audited financial statements.
- Partner with the Fund Accounting team and other peers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and client satisfaction.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years in an undergraduate program in a business-related field, such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Strong communication and review skills.
- A desire to learn more about audit and accounting.
