About the role#
As a Corporate Trust Intern, you will join the Corp Trust and Escrow group at UMB Bank. You will work on tasks related to reinsurance, municipal bonds, and funeral trusts while gaining exposure to different business partners within the industry.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and understand money set aside in trusts by funeral homes or associations for reinvestment.
- Track investments.
- Ensure all payments are processed in a timely manner.
- Assist with the onboarding of new accounts.
- Collaborate with various teams and business partners across the Corporate Trust and Escrow group.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a general business program or a related field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Pre-Law.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Kansas City, Missouri.
- The work is on-site.
- This role operates on a rolling term.
