About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work alongside tax experts to identify savings opportunities for large-scale clients. This role provides hands-on training and mentorship, including a trip to the company headquarters in Dallas.
What you'll do#
- Identify tax savings for multi-state companies.
- Assist with tax controversies, including preparing clients for auditor discussions.
- Represent clients at hearings and appeal meetings.
- Prepare protests and draft technical memoranda regarding tax issues.
- Respond to inquiries from clients and tax authorities.
- Review documentation and process raw data to complete detailed calculations.
What you'll need#
- You are working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or Economics.
- Your graduation date is within one year of the internship.
- You have a minimum overall and major GPA of 2.8.
- You have completed 6 to 12 accounting hours, depending on the practice area.
- You have intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- You have a valid driver’s license.
- You can manage multiple assignments, solve problems, and communicate clearly.
- You are comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

This is an on-site position available in Mississauga, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, and Ottawa.
