    About the role#

    BDO Canada is hiring Co-op or Intern students for the Financial Reporting & Insights team in Manitoba for the Summer 2027 term. This position provides hands-on experience with reviews, compilations, and corporate tax work. You will work in a hybrid environment, balancing time between the office, client sites, and remote work.

    What you'll do#

    • Prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagements.
    • Build working files for income tax and information returns for clients of various sizes.
    • Manage ongoing accounting analysis and assignments according to established procedures.
    • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients by responding to their requests.
    • Communicate regularly with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program focused on accounting.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • A commitment to teamwork, high-quality work, and client service.
    • Interest in long-term professional growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team.
    • Familiarity with software like QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is considered an asset.

    • Locations: Winnipeg, Pembina Valley, Portage la Prairie, and Brandon, Manitoba.
    • Term: May to August 2027.
    • Work Modality: Hybrid.
