About the role#
This internship is a 12-week summer program within the Agricultural Solutions division. You will work alongside BASF scientists, agronomists, and researchers to gain hands-on experience in field research and product development. This role is intended for undergraduate students who want to apply classroom knowledge to real-world agricultural projects. Please note that interns are employed through a third-party contracting agency.
What you'll do#
- Support research and development projects and field research activities.
- Assist with agricultural trials, including work with seed treatments, fungicides, and herbicides.
- Collect, organize, and analyze trial data.
- Monitor trials, document observations, and provide feedback on results.
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and identifying process improvements.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and execution of field trials.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in research tours, demonstrations, and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student.
- Highly motivated mindset.
- Willingness to be mobile, as assignments are located across various sites in the United States.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Academic background in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
