About the role#
This internship provides chemistry students with hands-on experience in plant manufacturing. You will work under the supervision of a mentor to gain insight into daily operations and contribute to specific projects.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned projects with guidance from your supervisor.
- Observe and assist with the daily tasks of your assigned department.
- Participate in safety and environmental programs.
- Keep a journal of your work and activities throughout the summer.
- Deliver a presentation to the management team at the end of your term.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active student majoring in Chemistry.
- You have completed at least your second year of college.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Calvert City, Kentucky.
- The internship takes place during the Summer of 2027.
