About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at one of our plant locations to gain hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing. You will be paired with a mentor or supervisor to guide your work and help you understand our department operations.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned projects under close supervision.
- Assist your supervisor with daily tasks and observe department activities.
- Participate in site-specific safety and environmental programs.
- Keep a journal of your work and activities throughout the summer.
- Prepare and deliver a presentation to the management team at the end of your term.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of college.
- Current enrollment in a Chemical Engineering degree program.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Location & details#
This role is on-site at one of the following locations: Lake Charles, LA; Plaquemine, LA; Geismar, LA; Longview, TX; New Martinsville, WV; Deer Park, TX; or Calvert City, KY. You may need to use personal protective equipment when working in operating units, and the role occasionally requires travel.
