About the role#
The Respiratory Intern supports hospital operations by managing the equipment and supplies needed for patient care. You will ensure that all departments have the resources they need while following infection control and safety guidelines.
What you'll do#
- Monitor, inventory, and restock equipment and supplies across the hospital.
- Maintain PAR levels for sterile and unsterile items.
- Fill supply requisitions and deliver items to the appropriate departments.
- Perform quality control checks and EKGs.
- Keep records of sterilization procedures to meet hospital and regulatory standards.
- Maintain your work area and ensure equipment operates safely.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a second year student in a CAAHEP or CoARC approved Respiratory Therapy program.
- You must be in good standing with your academic program.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your start date.

- This role is based in Meridian, Mississippi.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship with a rolling term.
