About the role#
Nationwide Children's Hospital is hiring a Research Intern for the IGM department. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves supporting ongoing research studies and experiments under the guidance of senior staff.
What you'll do#
- Gather and prepare the supplies and equipment required for research projects.
- Assist with laboratory analysis and the interpretation of research data.
- Help draft and prepare research proposals and reports by collecting supporting data.
- Maintain organized laboratory records.
- Keep the laboratory area and all equipment clean and in good working order.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in high school or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional support after normal business hours.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, or Public Health.
