About the role#
The Content Intern supports the Kids Mental Health Foundation by creating strategic communications that provide free mental health resources for children. You will help develop stories about the Foundation programs and contribute to marketing projects that reach our community. This position involves gathering data, building presentation materials, and assisting with office coordination tasks.
What you'll do#
- Write, edit, and proofread content for websites, blogs, email newsletters, and educational materials.
- Develop stories that highlight the impact of Foundation programs.
- Research mental health topics, industry trends, and audience insights.
- Track and report on digital and social media performance metrics.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, community events, and outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with the team to share ideas and achieve organizational goals.
- Attend weekly group development sessions and participate in intern events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in high school or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well within teams and maintain professional composure.
- Sound judgment and the ability to apply logical, critical thought processes to problem solving.
- Previous work experience in a medical field is preferred.
