About the role#
The Play Strong Sports Medicine Administrative Intern supports the development and implementation of programs and projects aligned with our strategic initiatives. This is a part-time, paid position based on-site in Columbus, Ohio. We accept applications on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Gather and analyze data to support department goals.
- Run pre-defined queries and format reports.
- Build presentation materials for projects and data findings.
- Perform clerical office coordination and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate directly with your manager to provide recommendations for business unit improvements.
- Attend weekly group development sessions and participate in all Nationwide Children's Hospital intern events.
- Apply strategic thinking and operational excellence techniques to solve problems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in high school or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program.
- Previous work experience in the medical field is preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well within teams and maintain professional composure.
- Sound judgment and the ability to apply logical, critical thought processes.
- A positive presence when interacting with staff, vendors, consultants, and physicians.
