About the role#
Nationwide Children's Hospital is hiring a Research Intern to support ongoing studies and experiments. This part-time position involves hands-on laboratory work and administrative tasks. You will work under supervision to help gather data and maintain research facilities.
What you'll do#
- Assist in research studies, experiments, and laboratory analysis.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret research data.
- Prepare and draft research proposals and reports.
- Collect and collate supporting data.
- Organize and maintain laboratory records.
- Obtain necessary supplies and equipment for projects.
- Ensure all equipment functions properly and keep the laboratory area clean.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in high school or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to interact with various audiences.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional after-hours support.
